The Agony - Natural

Before His crucifixion, Christ was scourged on a pillar by the Romans, in an attempt to appease his accusers. So too, we can see from the execution panel that the Sufferer was tortured before his own execution.

I don't really like depicting the Sufferer before his execution a la Pantskat because his pants were brought up to there as a mark of shame. I didn't do it that way here because I wanted to focus on the stomach area in this piece.
